For the duration of our Yokoso! Japan Weeks 2008 campaign, Tobu Railways is giving away a free Tobu Railway's " Tenugui " (Facecloth) to purchasers of any of three passes (discount rail tickets). Tobu is also opening special tourist information desks (called "Yokoso! Japan Desks") at the four major rail stations and en route to the Nikko-Kinugawa Hot Springs area.
Foreign travelers who purchase one of the following three Tobu rail passes:
TOBU SIGHTSEEING SERVICE CENTER, North Entrance, Tobu Asakusa Station
TOBU Railway's " Tenugui " is a traditional Japanese face-towel which designed Limited Express Train Spacia. For the Japanese a new "Tenugui" is a symbol of purity, so we have long used it as a small gift. Japanese use it in many ways besides wiping hands, faces and bodies. How about wrapping your hair with this when you bathe in a hot spring? We'll be happy if you take this and enjoy your trip to Nikko and Kinugawa Spa.
