Nikko Toshogu Shrine

This spectacular shrine is dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, who became the first shogun of the Edo period in 1617. It is famous for its statues of three monkeys that see, hear, and speak no evil.

Nikkozan Rinnoji Temple

Nikkozan Rinnoji Temple comprises halls, pagodas, and 15 branch temples. It originated in a temple built by Shodo Shonin when he introduced Buddhism to Nikko more than 1250 years ago.

British Embassy Villa Memorial Park

The building in the park was originally constructed in the 29th year of the Meiji era (1896) as a villa for use by Sir Ernest Satow, a British diplomat who had an immense influence on the Meiji Restoration. It was restored to its condition during subsequent use as the British Embassy Villa for many years.

Lake Chuzenji

Lake Chuzenji lies at the entrance to Oku-Nikko. It has a circumference of about 25 kilometers and a maximum depth of 163 meters. Scientists think it was originally formed about 20,000 years ago, when streams in ravines were dammed by lava flows in an eruption of Mount Nantai.

Kegon Falls

Tobu World Square

Taking protection of the world's heritage and architectural culture as its mission, this theme park is a miniature world featuring meticulous reproductions of famous buildings on a scale of 1/25. A discount pass for a round-trip fare from Tobu Asakusa Station to Tobu Nikko Station, plus free rides on buses in the city of Nikko for as long as the pass is valid.
You can also take free rides on the train to Tobu World Square and the Kinugawa Onsen area for as long as the pass is valid.

*There is a separate charge for rides on the limited express train.
You can receive a 20% discount on the price of a limited express ticket, as well as discount service at specified stores, restaurants, and facilities.
