    At Sumida River Walk, you will be greeted by a fantastical bamboo lantern sculpture with Tokyo Skytree in the background and an arch of bamboo lanterns hanging over the footbridge. You may also be able to see houseboats on the Sumida River flowing directly below.

    The Kitajukken River Terrace, which was developed in conjunction with Tokyo Mizumachi, allows you to spend a relaxing time by the water. You can also enjoy restaurants along the terrace or a cruise from the Koumebashi Pier.

    After enjoying a stroll through the air at the observation deck of Tokyo Skytree, the world's tallest radio tower, you will be greeted by bamboo lanterns at the exit floor. These fantastical bamboo lantern objects will see you off.

Sumida Park
At Sumida Park, adjacent to the Sumida River Walk, bamboo lanterns made by participants in the bamboo lantern workshop will be set up along part of the path from Breeze Square to Ushijima Shrine, illuminating the park with their warm glow.
Ushijima Shrine
The bamboo lantern light-up event at Ushijima Shrine, a beloved local shrine, is now in its fourth year and has become a seasonal winter tradition. The shrine is decorated with bamboo lanterns and the main building is illuminated with floodlights.
The bamboo balls, which appear to be floating in the air with Tokyo Skytree® in the background, are a recommended photo spot.
