Nikko Tamozawa Imperial Villa Memorial Park is one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Nikko. This memorial park was the imperial residence used by three generations of emperors and crown princes from 1899 to 1947. The 106 rooms villa, built in the Meiji period, is the largest wooden structure among the imperial residences. Visitors can enjoy beautiful views throughout the four seasons. In spring, the beautiful cherry blossoms reach full bloom! (Best time is late April.) Please stop by this park when you go to Nikko for sightseeing.
