At Kirifuri Tsutsujigaoka, torch azaleas are blossoming at their best from mid to late May. Dyed red all over with azalea flowers, this sightseeing spot is famous for a beautiful scenery that is absolutely fantastic. Kirifuri Highland Kisuge-daira Park, near to this spot, is also a must-see! This park has a famous sky corridor that is popular spot for taking photos. From mid-June to July, fields of yellow flowers (broad dwarf day lilies) can be seen. With its well-maintained promenade, this park is also recommended as a walking course when you go sightseeing in Nikko.
