When visiting Nikko, be sure to stop by "Lake Yunoko" and "Yudaki Falls." Lake Yunoko, with a circumference of about 3 km, is surrounded by mountains on three sides, giving it a very tranquil and mysterious atmosphere. The walking path around the lake can be circled in about an hour. The 70-meter high Yudaki Falls is at the southern end of Lake Yunoko. There is a viewing platform near the basin of the waterfall, where visitors can get a close-up view of the powerful waterfall. Both spots are renowned for their very beautiful autumn foliage.
