Takinoo Shrine is a famous tourist spot in Nikko. It is an associated shrine of Nikko Futarasan Shrine. It is said that your wishes will come true if you throw a pebble into the hole and it passes through well. The hole is on the “trial of luck” torii gate. Takinoo is a rare shrine which features interesting spots with bamboo, rocks, and Japanese cedar trees. When you visit the shrine, you can purchase various kinds of seal stamps for shrine visitors. Many people collect these because they are cute and popular. The scenery dyed with white winter snow is also beautiful.
