  • Nikko / Kinugawa Onsen / Aizu

See the Great Square of Pegasus constellation in autumn!

Autumn, the season of fallen leaves, has arrived. In autumn Senjogahara bustles with tourists.
In summer, the Milk Way at its zenith moves west, and is located in a spot that is easy to see from the Senjogahara Observatory.
This season is highly recommended for taking pictures of the Senjogahara marsh and the Milky Way together.
The Great Square of Pegasus, formed in autumn by the constellations Pegasus and Andromeda, can be seen just above the autumn night skies.
You can also check out the Cassiopeia constellation, with its W shape, just north of the Great Square.
The famous M31 Andromeda starfield, located in the waist of the Andromeda constellation, also attracts a lot of attention.
Senjogahara gets very cold at night, so be sure to enjoy warm clothing when you enjoy observing the starry skies!
