Iwatsuki Castle Park (also Iwatsuki Joshi Park) was built to maintain Iwatsuki Castle. It is known as a famous spot for cherry blossoms and water lilies.
Every spring, around 600 cherry blossoms beautifully bloom in this park, which bustles with many tourists! The best time for cherry blossoms here is every year from late March to around early April.
The vermilion-colored zig-zag bridge (Yatsuhashi bridge) on the iris pond is also made even more splendid by the cherry blossoms blooming, and makes for an excellent picture.
