Takinoo Shrine is located in Nikko City in Tochigi. It is a shrine associated with Nikko Futarasan Shrine, and is an amazing spot to visit, enveloped in calm and mystery, for those in the know. The main shrine quietly located among the cedar trees, the mossy stone path leading to the shrine, and the scenery in harmony with nature soothe the minds of visitors. The torii gate where you can try your luck is especially famous. It is a popular spot for many shrine visitors to tell their fortune by throwing a rock in the gate’s central hole. A great place to visit in early summer with its beautiful fresh greenery.
