At Higashiyama Hot Spring in Aizuwakamatsu City, the Kawadoko makes an appearance as a highlight of summer every year. It features special seating installed along the Yugawa River, which flows through this hot spring town. While listening to the murmuring of the river, you can enjoy Aizu’s local cuisine and sake. For dinner, they serve courses with a focus on Fukushima Japanese Black Wagyu beef and charcoal-grilled Aizu chicken. Eating this delicious food amongst the cool nature creates special moments for guests. Kawadoko is open from mid-June to September. An excellent place to visit if you come to Aizu in the summer.
