Senjugahama is located at the back of Lake Chuzenji. It is a quite nature spot, known for the clusters of Japanese primrose flowers that bloom in early summer. In June, light pink and white flowers bloom all throughout the area, creating vast, magical scenery that surrounds the lake and forest. Regular vehicles are prohibited from entering, so it’s recommended to take the low-pollution bus that departs from Akanuma Nature Information Center. During flower blooming season the area can be accessed by tour boat. This scenery can only be visited for a limited period, making it a special experience for photography enthusiasts and those who enjoy nature walks.
