The Asakusa Samba Carnival will be held along Umamichidori Street and Kaminarimondori Street on August 30 (Sat.) 2025 . It is known as the largest parade competition in the Northern hemisphere and draws around 480,000 to 500,000 visitors. This event has good access at just a short walk from Asakusa Station on the Tobu Skytree Line. Standing room spectator spaces are set up here, and drones and selfie sticks are prohibited. The colorful costumes and powerful taiko drum rhythms light up the townscape of Asakusa, a traditional shitamachi neighborhood, in passionate summer festival where visitors come together for an exciting time.
