On September 23 2025 (Tuesday / National Holiday) at 6:30PM, Oyama will be holding its traditional autumn fireworks festival, with fireworks shot up in the air at the bank of the Omoigawa River from 6:35PM. Around 20,000 fireworks will color the night sky and river surface - its scale and intensity make this one of the most popular fireworks festivals in the Kanto region. The fireworks are launched not far from the spectator seats, and the up-close view of the impressive and continuously launching star mine, Niagara, and shaku ball fireworks is very appealing.
