The expansive Kura no Machi is located in Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture. This area preserves a merchant down that thrived during the Edo Era thanks to boat transport and the Nikko Reiheishi Kaido. White-walled and black-painted storehouse-style architecture, shop houses and earthen storehouses are lined up along the Uzuma River and the Kura no Machi main street vividly preserve the historical landscape.
