The Yunishigawa Onsen Kamakura Festival is a popular winter event in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, and will be held until March 1, 2026 (Sun.) At night, countless small mini Kamakura snow huts lined across the snowy fields are lit with candles, making for dreamlike scenery that has been certified as a Japan Nigh View Heritage. The scenery of snow-covered thatched-roof kominka traditional houses combined with the light is incredibly photogenic, and there are snow play spots that both children and adults can enjoy. Enjoy hot springs and snowy scenery at Yunishigawa in the winter.
