The combination of Tokyo Skytree® and cherry blossoms is one photographic composition representing spring in Tokyo. Around the Sumida River and the Oshiage area, a popular composition frames the 634-meter tower through fully blooming cherry blossoms. You can enjoy different scenery depending on the time of day – the contrast with the blue sky during the day, and the juxtaposition with the illumination at night. Classic photo spots include upward-looking compositions from ground level, as well as the inverted Skytree reflected on the water’s surface.
Please note that from April 1 2026 entry tickets for the observation deck at Tokyo Skytree will change. There will no longer be prices based on weekdays, weekends, advance sales or same day sales. Instead prices will be set on a daily basis. Fees for adults visiting the Tembo Deck will range from 1,800 JPY to 3,600 JPY, with set tickets for the Tembo Deck and Tembo Galleria ranging from 3,000 JPY to 4,800 JPY. Please check the fee beforehand as it changes depending on the day you visit.
