Along the Shingashi River in Kawagoe, Somei-Yoshino cherry trees bloom every year from late March to early April, creating a spring scene with rows of cherry trees lining the riverbank. These trees stretch for about 500 meters, and visitors can enjoy the "hanaikada" (flower rafts), where petals float on the water. Nearby, the "Little Edo Kawagoe Spring Festival" is also held, making it perfect for daytime strolls among the cherry blossoms along the river and nighttime views of illuminated blossoms. It's a great stop to visit while strolling through Kawagoe in spring.
