At the Gokoku Shrine and Kinugawa Onsen Shrine in the Kinugawa Onsen area, the Kinugawa Mangekyo nighttime cherry blossom illumination will be held from April 3 (Fri.) to April 12 (Sun.) 2026. Around 50 Somei Yoshino and other cherry trees are softly lit from evening into night, letting visitors enjoy dreamlike scenery quite different from the daytime. The pink blossoms filling the shrine grounds are a popular photo spot, with the illumination being from around 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Visitors can enjoy a stroll under the evening cherry blossoms along with the atmosphere of spring in the Kinugawa Hot Springs.
