Lake Chuzenji is located at an elevation of about 1,200 meters. Cherry trees such as the Oyamazakura are scattered along the lake's shore, and you can enjoy the cherry blossoms surrounded by the quiet scenery including the lake and mountains. On clear days, you can enjoy the spectacular view of the cherry blossoms with Mount Nantai in the background and the reflection of the cherry trees on the water's surface. Here, strolling along the walking paths, visitors can truly feel the nature of Oku Nikko and relax while experiencing the arrival of spring. The best time to see the cherry blossoms is from late April to early May.
