Tokoname, a gem of a place that few in Nikko know about.
The riverbed here differs slightly from those of ordinary rivers because it is monolithic, so it is called a natural waterslide.
The pleasantly smooth riverbed and beautifully clear water make this the perfect spot to visit in summer.
Access:
● 15 minutes by taxi from Tobu Nikko Station
● From Shimoimaichi Station on Tobu Nikko Line, take the municipal bus Kobyaku-line for about 20 minutes and get off at the Kobyaku bus stop. It's about half an hour's walk from there.
