Sano City is located in the southwestern part of Tochigi Prefecture, approximately one and a half hours by train from Asakusa.
There are a lot of tourist attractions such as the abundance of nature, the shrine Sano Yakuyoke Daishi, famous even in Kanto, and Izuruhara Benten Pond which was chosen as one of the Select 100 Best Waters of Japan.
We recommend the local gourmet Sano Ramen and Sweet Potato Fries.
