Nikkosan Rinnoji Temple is a popular sightseeing spot in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. This temple is registered as a World Heritage Site as one of the shrines and temples of Nikko, along with the others nearby such as Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Nikko Futarasan Shrine. These shrines are only 5 minutes away from Nikkosan Rinnoji Temple, so it is recommended to visit them as well. Now is the season to enjoy the beautiful autumn foliage scenery. In addition, Shoyoen (a Japanese garden at Nikkosan Rinnoji Temple) will be holding a special autumn foliage light-up event from October 29. It is highly recommended to stop by for a visit.
