Tanigawadake Ropeway

Mt. Tanigawadake, 1,977 meters above sea level, is located in Joshin-Etsu National Park. In this area, you can enjoy many different views of the surrounding nature depending on the season, such as flowers in spring and the beginning of summer, colored leaves in autumn, and snow in winter.

This ropeway runs from Sanroku Station (746 meters above sea level) to Sancho Station (1,319 meters above sea level). On the trip between these stations, you will be able to enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains that can only be seen from the ropeway.
