Important Notice: Travel to Nikko During the Autumn Foliage Season (October–November)
During the autumn foliage season, heavy traffic congestion is expected between Tobu-Nikko Station and the Lake Chuzenji area.
As a result, bus services may be significantly delayed, and travel times may be more than two hours longer than usual.
Before purchasing a ticket that includes bus travel to the Lake Chuzenji area, such as the NIKKO PASS ALL AREA or applicable Bus-Only Tickets, please take into consideration the possibility of significant delays due to traffic congestion.
Please note that refunds will not be provided due to traffic congestion, even if you are unable to use the bus service to the Lake Chuzenji area because of traffic conditions.
For visitors planning a day trip to Nikko, we also recommend considering the NIKKO PASS WORLD HERITAGE AREA.
