Akechidaira Ropeway is a popular tourist attraction in Nikko. From the Akechidaira Observation Deck at an elevation of 1,373 meters, a magnificent panoramic view that includes the surrounding mountains and many of Nikko's famous sightseeing spots such as the Kegon Falls, Lake Chuzenji, and Mt. Nantai can be enjoyed. There is also a walking trail from the observation deck, with which you can enjoy trekking to Lake Chuzenji! Please give it a try when you visit the observation deck (trekking equipment is required).
