The British Embassy Villa Memorial Park and Italian Embassy Villa Memorial Park are on the shores of Lake Chuzenji in Oku-Nikko.
Oku-Nikko has been known as a summer resort since the 1890s, and diplomats from various countries had their villas on the shores of Lake Chuzenji.
These memorial parks open their villas to the public, with their appearances remaining the way they were as much as possible.
From their shores, these facilities have wide superb views of the lake.
They are closed during winter, and open from April.
