Harunasan Ropeway

Enjoy a refreshing trip in the air on a ropeway overlooking the entire Kanto Plain including Mt. Harunasan and Lake Haruna. You will also be able to enjoy viewing many flowers in spring and the beginning of summer, and colored leaves in autumn.

The ropeway runs from Sanroku Station (1,097 meters above sea level) to Sancho Station (1,366 meters above sea level). Between these stations, you can enjoy a beautiful view over the entire Kanto Plain and Lake Haruna that can only be seen from the ropeway.

When arriving at Haruna-Fuji-Sancho Station, it’s a short 5 minute to Haruna-Fujisan shrine. On the way, you can enjoy many flowers in spring and the beginning of summer, and colored leaves in autumn.

In the proximity of the ropeway, you can enjoy walking around Lake Haruna, or take the hiking course that generally takes about 3 hours. Take your time to fully enjoy Mt. Haruna-Fuji and Lake Haruna.
