Yoshimune Tokugawa (1684-1751), the 8th Shogun of the Edo Shogunate planted the first cherry blossom trees. There are currently approx. 640 cherry blossom trees. Enjoy an approx. 1 km row of cherry blossom trees along the both sides of the Sumida River together with the view of the Tokyo Skytree.
